Ancestral Voices – Our Special Illustrated Talk with Live Music – 14th May 2014

LWHS are delighted to advise that we have just confirmed a very special illustrated talk, with live music, in beautiful St Lawrence church Little Waldingfield next May 14th.

Ancestral Voices present a unique blend of history and music through a combination of historical narrative, contemporary accounts, visual images and period music; in essence, Ancestral Voices brings the past to the present.

Their full-length programmes feature the Ancestral Voices trio of Sarah, Tony & Jane to present historical narrative accompanied by images and live music which makes full use of their musical talents on an array of period instruments.

LWHS has pushed the boat out and opted for a trio presentation to involve all three Ancestral Voices, which per their website is “designed as a two-half presentation, allowing for an interval for refreshments, and is ideal for church/village fund-raising events, larger society gatherings, festivals and other special occasions”.

For those interested to hear extracts of their authentic music, these are freely available from their website at: http://www.ancestral-voices.co.uk/index.html

We are seriously looking forward to this event, and hope that readers will be able to set aside the date in next years calendar; it is most unlikely that we will be in a position to host such a lavish presentation again any time soon.

We will of course be doing considerably more advertising nearer the time, so please keep reading this blog or the LW website at: http://littlewaldingfie.waldorf.onesuffolk.net/organisations/little-waldingfield-history-society/

Roll on May 14th 2014
