Always a pleasure to read your reports.

    • Dear Bures-online,

Its always great to receive feedback and I’m delighted you enjoy reading the blog; Mark Bills gave us a truly excellent presentation on Thomas Gainsborough, so he should really take the credit.

As you are not too far away, perhaps we’ll see you at one of our future events, which commence next month, Wednesday 20th (in the Parish Room, Church Road LW) with Sarah Doig’s tale of ‘The A to Z of Curious Suffolk’. Sarah is a great friend of LWHS trustees and an absolutely brilliant speaker; this talk is based on her recent book of the same name and will be ‘A Romp through rolling countryside along the shingled coastline of Suffolk to unearth an alphabetical cornucopia of strange, spooky & mysterious facts about the county’.

I for one cannot wait to hear what she has to say about our lovely county, and for those who can’t make the talk, I’ll do my best to summarise what she says.
